Refunds Policy

REFUND POLICY

Please read the entire policy first and then contact the OYSS Registrar should you wish to request a refund: (oyssregistrar@oceansideyouthsoccer.com)

PRIOR to the start of the season:

1. If, for any reason, you wish to withdraw a registered player PRIOR to the start of the season but no later than 72 hours before the first scheduled Oceanside Youth Soccer Society (OYSS) game/event of a given season, you may request a refund.

2. Refund requests initiated PRIOR to the start of the season but no later than 72 hours before the first scheduled OYSS game/event of a given season will be subject to a processing fee of $50 that shall be withheld from the funds already paid by the registrant.

3. Refunds initiated PRIOR to the start of the season may take 2 to 3 weeks to process and may be refunded in the same format as you paid and/or in the form of a cheque issued by OYSS.

AT or AFTER the start of the season:

1. If, for any reason, you wish to withdraw a registered player less than 72 hours before the first scheduled OYSS game/event of a given season and up to the end of the first week of game play, you may request a refund.

2. Refunds initiated less than 72 hours before the first scheduled OYSS game/event of a given season and up to the end of the first week of game play will be subject to a processing fee of $75 that shall be withheld from the funds already paid by the registrant.

3. Refunds initiated less than 72 hours before the first scheduled OYSS game/event of a given season and up to the end of the first week of game play may take 2 to 3 weeks to process and may be refunded in the same format as you paid and/or in the form of a cheque issued by OYSS.

AFTER the 2nd (second) week of the given season:

1. If, for any reason OTHER THAN a medical / injury related reason that impacts that player's ability to play, you wish to withdraw a registered player from an OYSS season after the 2nd week of the given season, NO REFUNDS shall be issued.

MEDICAL withdrawl/refund:

1. If, for a medical / injury reason, an OYSS registered player is no longer ABLE to play, please contact the OYSS Registrar (oyssregistrar@oceansideyouthsoccer.com) to request a refund. NOTE: Supporting documentation may be requested to validate such requests.

2. If, for a medical / injury reason, an OYSS registered player is no longer ABLE to play, OYSS reserves the right to reasonably pro-rate any refunded amount to reflect the percentage of the season the has been completed and that remains in the registered season.
